I have uninstalled the controller app on my i Mac & reinstalled, no go. I have let the "Updating Music Library" run for 72hrs , no go.
Has anyone ever gotten this resolved because none of the posts I found offered a definitive working solution.

My grandson has a toshiba satellite c55, he said a window popped up that said " system update, if you don't do it, it will be done automatically, or something to that effect, he's 11, and I wasn't there. Windows came pre-installed and I do not have a recovery disk.
Now, it will power on, but it's stuck on please wait screen. My grandson doesn't even know what type of update it was. I have tried turning it off and back on, and pressed all the function keys.
