Just install a cam and allow your clients to access it in just 5 minutes. You don’t need to deploy any servers or a CDN (content delivery network) of your own if you plan to broadcast worldwide. Nearly anything can be a video source for an Ivideon feed: In the first three cases, you’ll need to install the free Ivideon Server app on your server or desktop computer — it recognizes a camera as an available device and establishes an encrypted connection to the cloud.
Implementing something of this sort does not require much in the way of sysadmin sorcery, and most employees will definitely find it enormously useful.
There are cams for indoors and outdoors use available, with a variety of Internet connection options—cable, Wi-Fi, and 3G/4G.
The quality isn't always the best and you may suffer from some occasional lag, but the app is free and simple to use, so it's hard to complain.
Hopefully we get an update that includes some more options.
Not too long ago I showcased Re Cam, a free app that lets you schedule recordings and use your Android device as a security or spy camera of sorts.
While useful, this app required you to schedule when to record in advance, resulting in you possibly missing the footage you intended to record (assuming your scheduling wasn't as on-point as you wished).
You can also do the same with virtual audio sound driver.
Add amazing microphone audio effects to your broadcast.
Now I'll be showing you another way to use your Android device as a security camera, only this time you'll be able to view it as a live stream from within any web browser—on your phone or computer.
To begin the process, install Camera Stream - Wi Fi IP Webcam from developer J. Although there are plenty of similar apps available on the Google Play Store, Camera Stream was the simplest to use, and best of all, didn't cost anything. At the top of the display you'll see the URL where your stream can be viewed.
The Live Streaming If you don’t have a budget to pay for your own CDN, services like USTREAM and Livestream provide the full infrastructure to deliver video content to your viewers.
And more importantly, if ads are acceptable, they offer the basic service for free.
Nor do you need to buy or install streaming software, or provide full support for the streaming service. Ivideon Server is available for all major platforms — Windows, Linux, and OS X.
