This topic explains how to resolve certificate validation errors or refers to documentation that may help you resolve the errors.
For more information about how the Microsoft Exchange Transport service selects certificates for Transport Layer Security (TLS), see the following topics: This error is an informational status message.
To correct this error, a new certificate that matches the FQDN of the Send connector or Receive connector that tried to validate this certificate must be created.
For more information, see Understanding TLS Certificates.
By default, the certificate that installed with Exchange Server 2010 is self-signed.
It's generally a best practice to use certificates from trusted third-party certification authorities (CA).
For a more detailed discussion, please watch my Build 15 presentation here: https://channel9com/events/Build/2015/2-740 Translation: When you configure your AAD application on Azure, you have to set one or more reply URLs: Now when your application attempts to authenticate against AAD, as part of that request it will provide the redirect URI it wants. Again the resource identifier is the thing you want to access.
This allows the application to know when the user’s authentication/authorization flow is finished so it can go ahead and take the access token. What if your application requests for a reply URL that is not in that list? So AAD is basically saying: “Hey, this doesn’t look ok. But here’s what it really means in most cases: When you configure your URL under the application settings in Azure AD, you forgot… So your app goes to AAD and says: Most libraries, such as ADAL, will have that resource identifier as a parameter that you have to provide.
The error occurs if you had accidentally restarted your PC or signed out of computer causing an interruption to the upgrade process.
In this case, you might want to start over and complete the upgradation process.
In other words, if you are building a native app (whether that’s a Windows, i OS, Android, etc) then you need to create a Native Client Application under Azure AD so it will let you use this sort of URI. So what you want is to have a URL in the reply URL list that lands into some nice “welcome user blah! It can’t access the content of that browser for security reasons. And it is waiting to see a specific URL to load up so it knows the login is finished so it can close that browser. In other words, that’s a specific AAD directory for a specific organization that it’s talking about.
